Ticket Question

I have never run into this problem before; we are coming for a week (Dec 16-23rd). We are planning on doing 3 day park hopper tickets plus a party night. Problem is if I select 3 day tickets starting the 17th they have to be used by 21st but we were planning on going to a park on the 22nd, the last full day we have. Anybody know if there is a way to get around this or options?

Thanks

I think you can add the Park Hopper plus option and get an extra day on the validity duration of the tickets.

You could also book a package if staying onsite, which would mean your 3 day tickets would be valid for the whole of your stay.

We are DVC so no package. I saw the park hopper plus option, would be an extra $100 but we would be able to go do mini golf on our off days which we haven't done before

I would also check that the park hopper plus option is cheaper than simply adding a day to the regular PH tickets. I imagine it will be …. but you never know without comparing prices.

I am a TA so the commission on 3 day tickets PH+ tickets will probably be the best option. Kind of sucks that Disney limits the days you can use tickets especially for DVC members who are staying on property.
It's okay, we will do mini golf for the first time at Disney and will have some extra flexibility with going to the water park depending on weather

It does but I kind of understand why; it's all revenue driven. People who spend a week or two DVC (or the campground) with 2-4 day tickets aren't creating much parks revenue with few days in the parks. WDW wants those guests to buy a longer ticket to spend more time in the parks rather than doing other things in the area. It's also why ticket prices have been "front loaded" for many years now -- meaning the first few days of a multi-day ticket cost almost full price but by days 8-10 it's only an incremental $20 or so for an additional day.

Tickets used to be valid for 14 days from first use, but it's been several years now since that changed. Only a 10-day ticket gets that long.

I was curious, so ran the dates and prices. This is the 3day PH starting on the 17th.

I wish there was a small upcharge option to add a couple more days of usage, but I get why there’s not.

Here’s adding a 4th day

It adds the days you need, but the price is hefty.

Here’s the 3day park hopper plus:

Definitely the way to go if those dates work. Just remember the mini golf needs to be before 4pm.
