Let's say that you have one single day in the Orlando area, and you can only go to one of these two parks. Which would you pick?
Both parks have amazing rides, great themed lands and immersion, and overall rely on a fun theme park experience. Both parks are pure fun and have a lot of technically advanced impressive rides. Both parks feel on par from a ride roster prescriptive.
Which park is superior, has better rides, more fun, etc? Which is the better park? Discuss.

Islands of Adventure! But seriously...

I'd probably go to Hollywood Studios right now though in the summer/hurricane months just because it is more reliable in terms of fewer outdoor attractions.

Overall, I like the top rides at Epic better, but the overall attractions at Hollywood Studios better. Immersion/Lands, food...Epic for me. Entertainment...Hollywood Studios (more shows and a nighttime show). Both are solid parks...I just like Islands of Adventure better.

I'd probably rank the rides personally betweeen the parks as:
Monsters Unchained
Rise of Resistance
Stardust Racers
Battle at the Ministry
Hiccup's Wing Gliders
Rock N Roller Coaster
Tower of Terror
Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run
Slinky Dog
Toy Story Mania
Mario Kart
Runaway Railway
Mine-Kart Madness
Curse of the Werewolf
Alien Saucers
Dragon Racers Rally
Star Tours
Constellation Carousel
Fyre Drill
Yoshi

For me not even close. Epic Universe.

While I love Tower of Terror and think Runaway Railway is a fun ride and Galaxys Edge is a cool land, I just would toss most of what’s left at Studios. Rock and Roller coaster is decent…Star Tours is old, Indy is an old show, Beauty and the Beast is old, don’t care for the new Mermaid show or Disney Jr stuff…don’t much care for Toy Story land either…and the park is such a weird and convoluted layout.

That being said, Isle of Berk and its rides are fantastic. Nintendo land is awesome. Stardust Racers is one of the best coasters in the USA, new Wizarding World blew me away…and Monsters…best new ride!

From my experience at both, Epic Universe with a fairly slight lead. While I do agree it's overall "usually" the better themed out of the two. I think after Muppets RNRC, Monsters, and whatever is going on in Sunset Showcase (featuring Muppets) comes out, I might be biased enough to bump HS over Epic honestly.

HS seems to handle the "too many E-tickets" much better than Epic does, overall. And I think the worst ride at HS is much better than the worst ride at Epic. So while Epic rn has more heights, I actually prefer some of HS's rides over its top rides. For an example, I prefer ToT over BatB while understanding that BatB is a very technically impressive ride, ToT is just the better one IMO. I think it's interesting to say that the worst ride in HS is still 4-5 rides above the bottom for me as in I can think of 4-5 rides that IMO are worse than Alien Swirling Saucers at EU which is... not great considering its a simple flat ride but honestly I love Alien Swirling Saucers, it was a treat last time I was there.
