why are there rumors about the muppets returning to WDW?

suddenly i am getting a barrage of posts on facebook that claim that the muppet show is returning.. can some one who really knows.. set the record straight.. please...

Short answer the Muppets are moving to Rock N Roller Coaster...

Simply because Muppets are so loved and have been a part of Disney for years and years and no one wants them to become extinct. They are being revamped for RnRC so they will be staying but it may not be enough for what guests are hoping for. With anything Dis rumors will fly in various forms, some with some veracity and others just so far out there that they are unbelievable. No one can believe rumors they hear online until they come true.

If Disney wanted the Muppets 3D show to remain, they wouldn't be removing it.

what is "funny' is that the post are coming from "real disney sites" and that they have the true info.. anyway i assume that it all must be click bait.. this is not even smoke , much less fire.. its just rubbish..thanks for your help...

Do you have a link to post to these “real Disney sites”? I’ve only seen stuff from Disney about preserving the media for it.

Some of it is wishful thinking - it does seem like the thought has likely been considered though. Imagination Pavilion and Sunset are both options that could easily work.
