A next phase skyliner would be great - connect AKL and AKP as well as Blizzard and Coronado with a terminus at Hollywood.
This has been discussed over on the Skyliner expansion forum section but been said over and over of saying that Disney is in no way interested in expanding the skyliner now.. I don't know if that's true.

As much as an extension to Coronado Spring's would be really cool, it would be the first route to cross above an existing World Drive highway.

The only reasonable thing for AK would be just a skyliner connecting Disney's Animal Kingdom and Animal Kingdom Lodge. You can have the cabins wrap stickers be only animals to make it it's own thing!

Reliable sources have said they look at it, and keep deciding not to. What WDW chose to do with putting all three lines on the same motor and choosing turning stations in Riviera and Boardwalk Inn parking lot closed off a lot of options to add on new lines. They didn't build for the future, making any new configuration that much more expensive to fix it.

The alternative is a bus or light rail running on their own roads not available to the public that may or may not be automated.

Currently, WDW seems content with the way things are buying more busses and creating more dedicated bus lanes and turning almost every traffic light into non-stop interchanges.

Just to clarify, all three lines have their own individual motors.

AKL already has a whole DVC resort attached.... They need a transportation that is NOT a bus to connect the park and Hotel... A train would be great....and would fit the feel of the park and resorts....then the Ticketing/park entrance could feel more like a transportation hub...

Yeah. I don’t see any incentive for Disney to connect AK to AKL unless it was to partially fund a new DVC offering.

Yeah, The Boardwalk Inn Turning Stop could been similar to the Riviera station it already turns the same way. People who would get on or off would be for those connecting to another separate skyliner line going from there that location straight off to Coronado Spring's a station for could be right beside Gran Destino Tower from the front. Also if a future project or resort were to be constructed across the street from Gran Destino Tower only that could amplify a reason to have a skyliner extend to two of those places. All Star Resorts and Animal Kingdom are too far in sense even though what's not to say All Star's can't have it 😉!

I did

I will say, while I appreciate the effort to bring in a new form of transportation in form of the Skyliner, I still think buses are the way to go with how large WDW is. Ideally, we'd get the next phase of bus-only roads to and from MK to reduce congestion on World Drive, etc.
Won't ever happen because of the Contemporary and the infrastructure needed to cross (or go under) Seven Seas Lagoon/Bay Lake.

Well aware. Specifically referring to the stretch between the MK toll gate (where World Drive meets Floridian Way) and Osceola Pkwy. The area between Floridian Way & Epcot Center Dr would benefit tremendously if they improved the Epcot intersection which consistently backs up at park open/close.
