You can see them in the My Disney Experience app or at https://www.wdwmagic.com/calendar.htmStupid question but where do you get this information from, the website only shows park hours until August 9th today?
I would too, but I think HS being where the highest concentration of thrill rides and Star Wars is probably makes it compelling for these kind of events more than a park like MK or EPCOT would. If I had that kind of money, I'd much rather rent out EPCOT or MK than DHS. More to do frankly, and much more wow for those I'm trying to impress.
I made this a DHS day because of the early closing and had no problem getting Sci Fi when I booked this morning. There's still availability for Sci Fi right now, and that never happens.Thoughts on making this a DHS day?
We can see Fantasmic another day, so that isn't an issue.
Will it be quiet because of the reduced hours like at MK during party days, or will everyone have the same idea?
Our two options for that day at DHS or Epcot.
I have a dining reservation for 50's Prime time cafe at 5:30pm. Is the park closing going to interfere with it? I know if I have a late reservation at the end normal hours and we don't finish until after park closing I am good, we just have to leave the park when we are done. I am hoping that is the same situation here.According to updated park hours in the My Disney Experience app, Hollywood Studios is set to close at 6pm on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
My understanding is they typically give out a wrist band to those who have valid entry to the after hours/special event. So you will be fine having your meal at 5:30 and can take all the time you want, but once you are done without having the wristband you won't be able to access any attractions and will be directed to the exit.I have a dining reservation for 50's Prime time cafe at 5:30pm. thanks! we are thinking the same thing. I am curious about the crowds as well.My understanding is they typically give out a wrist band to those who have valid entry to the after hours/special event. Aug 16th was my planned Hollywood Studio day before this was found out. We have park hoppers so I decided to keep it that way. I'm definitely interested to see how crowd levels are impacted.
