Yep good to see these are back, it used to be a near certainty that this would be offered every year.
That being said, we did a booking with the dining credit offer a couple of years ago and actually ended up preferring that. You got a lump sum on a dining gift card (with an expiry date) as well as something like $400 per room on a non-expiring gift card, which we ended up using across a couple of trips for a few meals.
Gimmie free* food and I'm happy.
*Ok yes I know, its baked into the hotel price...shhh let me live in peaceful ignorance!

This is actually the 2nd year in a row this offer has been available to us Brits
(We have a September trip that we booked way back in April 2024 to take advantage of the same deal)
The previous dining credit offer was actually slightly better (and much easier to use), but this one tempted us back for 2025.

The small print mentions Ireland as being included, although the discount is less. And isn’t there something about reciprocal EU booking, in that it has to be bookable by anyone in the EU? I know for DLP we can book packages through any of the European sites.I'm very much interested, but I wouldn't know how to. I would really appreciate some advice of guidance
When you visit the WDW site, do you have the option to change the country? Or just try using Disneyworld.co.uk and see if it will let you in without redirecting you. Or you could try a vpn. That would be my first step. Good luck.

https://www.disneypackages.co.uk is the website where I found the offer. I do have VPN so I'll try that. For now I have to wait until the 29th of April when the bookings are opened. Thanks for sharing your insights and wisdom with me @nickys

Just FYI.
Current UK prices for tickets this month (including the current "selected arrivals in 2025" offer) are:
7-day: £499 ($660)
14-day: £458 ($606) (yes, it's less than 7-day, should be £539 outside the offer...)
For the same period next year:
7-day: not available
14-day: £677 ($896)

All UK tickets include Memory Maker and Park Hopper. There are no options to exclude them for a lower price.

Previous iterations of this deal have included a gift card, a one-time discount on shopDisney and Magical Extras such as discounted/free mini golf.
I can't seem to see any evidence of these this time around.
Like other posters mentioned, in past years, we got a dining credit rather than a dining plan, which I think was a lot more flexible as you could use it anywhere (quick service, table service, snack etc)
For comparison, when we booked in 2023 for 2024, we stayed at Coronado Springs and got:

Yup had basically the exact same offer a few years ago. Deffo preferred that one. The mini golf ticket seems to always be included. Can’t remember a time when I’ve had uk tickets and we’ve not had that thrown in. Most of the time they don’t seem to even mention it though. It just appears on your MDE account.

@The Mighty Tim , The UK tickets include water parks and mini golf. You get as many entries as park days.
I think each mini golf course counts as a separate entry; doing both water parks on one day is just one entry.

Yes, booking in 2022 for February 2023 at Riverside I got:
- $72 per night dining/merchandise credit - obviously this is not restricted to 2 QS meals and a snack per day, you can spend it on whatever combination of things you want, even TS meals, more festival food items (snacks) than number of nights in your stay, merchandise... essentially a normal gift card that can't be used for buying LLs. Compare that with the cost of a QS dining plan at that time and what that would have given you and how it restricts you to buying certain things.
- $200 gift card.
- 2 Cirque Du Soleil tickets (they must have been looking for audience!), but I think they were "value" tickets in poor locations and I guess a lot of people would pay to upgrade.
- Magical Extras (the book of coupons)
I ended up with almost $1,000 spending money. Much much better value than a dining plan. For my stay in November 2024 at All Star Sports, I got essentially the same deal though obviously with less credit, but I still ended up with $500 spending money. It really made the holidays all-inclusive for me, didn't need to spend on anything else out of pocket. You can't do that with a dining plan, which is a good indication of the poor value for money that a dining plan is.
However, you have to balance this against the fact that we probably pay more for the hotel room and park tickets anyway, and I'm a solo traveller so my credit didn't have to be shared with anyone else in the room. The dining plan is for everyone in the room. The other side of that coin is that I have to pay full price for the room, the cost isn't shared with others.
It's a shame we don't get a choice of offers so we can pick the one that works best for us!

You could use a US TA to price out a room deal and package. Compare with the UK deal.
Then go with the best option.

The problem with travel agents (whether domestic or international) is that they can't get into my head.
When I have the tools in front of me to play around, I can decide for myself whether I want to reduce or increase the number of days, swap hotels, change room type, change dates, change months...to either reduce the price or maybe even increase the price to get a better combination of things that I quite like. They won't know, for example whether I would be willing to got to Caribbean Beach over Coronado in order to save £100, or whether CB is a complete no-go regardless of price, or whether I could be persuaded if the difference was over a certain arbitrary figure, or maybe an All Stars, and that might depend on which parks I am wanting to go to most on this holiday, and whether I'd be willing to swap park days around, etc etc... I like to visit other parks in the area too, I can juggle around the dates to fit when the tickets prices for those parks are best. A TA won't know what my work situation is, what my diary is like. Going through a US TA also means packages aren't released at the same time, and prices of UK flights are a big factor. US packages generally won't be available at the time I would want to book flights to get best choice and prices. Would I be willing to drop a hotel/room class in order to upgrade to a premium flight? Or reduce the number of days in order to do that, or would the price to upgrade to premium be low enough for me to absorb that without altering the holiday? Would changing the dates alter the price of the flight? There will also be a time delay with responses. There is a lot of juggling to be done. Perhaps I'm just too much of a perfectionist! But at the price we pay for these holidays, we want to get something that is Goldilocks.
It is also the case that UK hotel inventory is not the same as US inventory and it might actually be difficult to compare packages.
VPNs might be a good idea for visiting the US site to play around with Disney price options, but still the flights would be a problem.
Call me demanding, but it would be nice to have an option to say what offer we'd like to apply:
1. Free Dining Plan
2. Dining/Merchandise Credit
3. Discount off room
4. x nights free
There is a certain amount of money they will allocate to offers and discounts and enticements, all of these things probably "cost" the same to Disney, but how they're applied will affect different groups of people and have different value. But perhaps that's just marketing and data analysis. They know what groups of people will be attracted to certain types of offer so they will target those people at certain times when they want to attract more of those people.

The point I was making is that it's a shame that the dining/merchandise credit has been replaced with free dining as that was better value for some people, indeed anyone who has expressed a preference so far in this thread and others has come down on the side of the credit, so I'd like to be able to choose between the dining plan or dining credit as my "discount". The dining plan discount will actually end up costing me more than credit of equal value.
Of course, it doesn't "cost" Disney as much to include the dining plan over the credit, even if they're equal face value, because the dining plan is poor value for money. Even though they say it's worth £70/day or whatever, people will very rarely spend that much on 2 QS meals and a snack each day and will spend more on food and drink in addition because they get more than 2 QS meals and a snack each day outside the dining plan restrictions.
Let's face it, we "need" these discounts because they bring the price down to something slightly less than absolutely horrific.
The reasons I listed are why I don't use travel agents.

To be honest, I can't remember the exact details. All I do remember is that something called "Magical Extras" was mentioned in the previous offers, but not this time. These might be the vouchers they send you a couple of weeks before you go.
I still prefer the flexibility of the dining credit instead of the dining plan, but I've had the dining plan before, so I think I can get the most out of it.
