Your hair looks great. Here's the announcement from Disney:
From January 25, 2026, through January 31, 2026, Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment. Complimentary bus service will be available.
folks staying at Riviera have bigger issues (like taste in hotels)I wish they'd rotate the maintenance schedule because it's almost always this same week in January each year which I guess is both good and bad. Good because I guess you can somewhat plan around it. Bad because if that week is a special time of year for folks then they'd pretty much never be able to spend that time at Riv with a working Skyliner.
The Riviera is definitely the low point when it comes to resort theme and attention to detail. The new Ft. Wilderness cabins are a worse concept to be sure - but it’s so bad I don’t even count it.folks staying at Riviera have bigger issues (like taste in hotels)
I thought they fed what wasn't turned to ash by the incinerating heat inside the gondolas to the gators every night?I suppose they need to remove all those bodies of all the folks that died in them due to no air conditioning that we were warned about![]()
The transportation, food and rooms are all worthwhilefolks staying at Riviera have bigger issues (like taste in hotels)
This would be the case if WDW was located Phoenix as is is a dry heat. However, the humidity simply causes corpses to smolder leaving a bit of residue.I thought they fed what wasn't turned to ash by the incinerating heat inside the gondolas to the gators every night?
Best answer of the year so far!folks staying at Riviera have bigger issues (like taste in hotels)
I would investigate the Jambalaya at FQ. I think it gave me food poisoning in November! See picture - definitely iffy.I thought they fed what wasn't turned to ash by the incinerating heat inside the gondolas to the gators every night?
I put croutons in it because they didn’t have crackers, before you ask! And the color seemed a little ‘off’. Was sick the rest of the trip.Sorry you got sick but that picture looks delicious to me
And here I thought a guest spilled a bag of BBQ pork rinds in the gondola…I thought they fed what wasn't turned to ash by the incinerating heat inside the gondolas to the gators every night?
Such a shame they don’t have an informational app to push the Skyliner news out. Where to get the bus?Digital signs at world showcase still listed “skyliner” - I didn’t notice any additional signs saying skyliner was closed.
Apparently some guests were told a bus was running from boardwalk to skyliner resorts but the bus wasn’t…. The springs driver was nice enough to drop them off at the Riveria.
Definitely some confusion and lack of clarity.
Not sure if you’re just being sarcastic but I think information should be shared in ways other than the app. It’s “yes and” - the app should give info but signs should also offer info I think?Would be helpful if only there was an app that guests downloaded for info.
