We dined there on our trips last evening in October. We were staying at POFQ and with packing and preparing everything to leave early the next morning we wanted to have a meal close by. We had eaten there before and the experience was similar to what we had 2 years earlier other than the service time seemed faster this time.
There was no wait for a table. We had a server bring us drinks and take our order immediately. She was pleasant and had a nice conversation with us. There were others dining at tables nearby and the noise level was quiet and we could enjoy conversations. There are boat building items and blueprints decorating the walls which is thematic but isn't a reason to make the spot anything special. Our food came quickly and was well prepared. Pricing isn't out of line for what we got.
DS and I both ordered the French Onion soup to start. It was flavorful but lacked the thickness of cheese on top that I like. DS and I ordered the Jambalaya and DW had the Salmon. Our serving was full of rice, shrimp, sausage and chicken and I would highly recommend it. DW was very pleased with her Salmon.
If you are looking for a restaurant nearby to POFQ, one that doesn't have a long wait, and you don't want to leave the resort area, it will do.
