Topolino breakfast for 4 plus toddler

I’m trying to book the character breakfast for my daughter’s 8th birthday. I know the answer is that I need a reservation for 5 guests, since we’ve got 3 kids and the youngest is 2.

The problem is there is zero availability for a party of 5 on that morning. When I changed to 4 guests, I had a ton of choices on times. So I went ahead and booked for 8:10am for 4.

Should I just show up and hope they'll seat 5 of us, since one will be in a high chair? Should I call to see if they can add the 5th? Keep checking and hope for availability to open up?

Worst case, I’ll tell my husband he can sleep in and we’ll bring him some leftovers from our girls’ breakfast 😂

Their system could be very weird, and sometimes doesn’t even make sense. I tried booking Tony’s in Magic Kingdom recently for one person, and it showed no availability. For two people, they had tons of availability.

I figured it must just be a booking issue, so I went in person and asked at the counter, and they said the same thing!

One or two people take up the same sized table! 😆

I’ve searched Topolino reservations in the Disney app many times to gauge availability, and this has definitely been true for at least a year or two. I actually don’t think they list tables larger than a party of 4 on the app or website, you probably have to call. I’ve literally never seen anything larger than a 4-top listed.

I would call and see if they can change it that way.

They definitely do have tables for more than 4. We had two reservations for 5 and 4 for our group of 9 and they were able to seat us at the same large table.

You could consider seeing if there’s anything for 4 and 3. Or just show up and play dumb. “Oh my goodness! I didn’t think about the 2 year old because she doesn’t have a ticket! I’m so sorry! What do we do?” I suspect they will accommodate you, though you might have to wait a bit longer.
