Monday 31st March
Travel day.

We headed off to Charles De Gaulle direct from our local airport. During the flight we spotted the Eiffel Tower in the distance. the landing was a little on the bumpy side but we had touched down in France. Taxiing to terminal 3 we saw Le Concord on display at the airport.
Getting to the shuttle proved an interesting time as it was a little unclear with directions from this terminal. We had to walk between 3 and the train station and then take a shuttle between here and 2F. Then it was a pretty simple walk to the magical shuttle location .
We just missed the bus and had to wait half an hour or so for the next one. Not the worst wait in the world as the sun was pleasant.
Once aboard the coach it was about an hours transfer to the hotel with stops at Santa Fe and Hotel New York first.
We were staying at Sequoia lodge and its a beautiful hotel with definite similarities to Wilderness lodge in Florida. After having our bags scanned prior to entrance , we checked in and made our way to the room. A nice corner room on the end of a wing.
We decided to head on over to the Studios park so as to make our first full day the castle park.
After a quick stop at Starbucks , we entered into the parks and our first ride.

First up ,
Cars Quatre Roues Rallye. A spinning ride similar to Alien Swirling Saucers. It was a walk on and we had been recommended this ride. It was a laugh a minute and a great start to the holiday.
Next up Ratatouille . This was another great ride although we were surprised that it wasn't in 3D. This didn't distract from it and we both really enjoyed our little mouse adventure.
We took a stroll over to Carstastrophe canyon and as this was also a walk on. It was a fun little experience. A little short but still nice to see Catastrophe canyon again.
After checking wait times we took the stroll around to Avengers campus and lined up for Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventures.
This is an amazing ride and I would recommend it to all. I might have been thoroughly beaten by Mrs Ferret. In fact she was the highest scorer in the car .
We headed out of the park at this point and stopped by Earl of Sandwich for dinner . Hawaiian barbecue may have ended up a staple of our trip. We never bothered with any table service eating as we didn't feel hungry enough.
Next up 50 at Disneyland Paris.
