AK or EPCOT Adult Only Trip?

Hey guys, wife and I got married and are doing a few days in the world for the honey moon. Just curious on opinions of EPCOT vs AK for our trip. We only have 3 park days, don't want to pay for hoppers and MK/DHS are our must do parks. This is also our first trip without kids since 2011. We took a Disney hiatus until 2019 with our first born and have been back 3 times but with kids every time. So it's sort of changing what we'd typically prioritize, which is causing the tough decision making.

So that leaves me with the other 2. We're not big drinkers, so I don't think we'd drink around the world. That's not to say we wouldn't drink at all though. What would you guys pick? What are maybe some of the pros and cons of each park when going without kids?

Even without drinking, EPCOT is the only reasonable option. Every ride in AK can be done in ~4 hours and even less if staying in a WDW Resort. EPCOT has more rides, more new things to see, and more to do. The night time show at EPCOT is many times better than at AK, especially with the new update from 2023. So my vote is firmly for EPCOT. Oh and, CONGRATS!!!

I put EP over AK for me personally due to my enjoyment of the pavilions, entertainment, CM interactions, the foods available, and rides there, but for you, decide what atmosphere suits you both more. Both parks do offer a lot so no matter which you choose it will be a decent amount of time and value to your ticket in. Some folks think AK isn't a full day park but that's because they don't take time to enjoy all it has to offer. Think about which attractions would you mostly enjoy, what dining you'd like, how you're likely to spend your time, and the weather can also be a factor. EP isn't as hot and humid and is easier top maneuver if it's rainy.
Either park could suit you under the right circumstances that only you can determine.
