I was really excited clicking in this, but there are no new characters, just the same ones with different presentation/hours.

I realize I shouldn't be shocked ("experiences"), but I am definitely disappointed.

Are we saying previous development at WDW has focused too much on E-ticket intense experiences that don’t cater to the whole family? Craaaaazy thought
Maybe the opening of a theme park by their competitor across town that features similar issues may have made them realize something...

Well, I'm glad that they are offering half-price kids tickets this summer so parents can pay full price for themselves, not have their kids ride many things, but have a play area for them instead. So worth the $500/day (minimum) price tag! At least they can pay full rack rate for their room and tickets but get "free" dining with their stay.

These are ... a half-arsed attempt to provide "value"at the pre-school crowd? I don't even know what they are aiming for anymore. Feels very much like "throw **** against the wall and see what sticks" kind of planning. I'm also not sure why any parent would spend the money to vacation at WDW just to have their kid(s) play in a play area (assuming, of course, they aren't doing rides). 🤷‍♂️

These new ticket deals and offerings are a short-term plan until we get things up and open.

They obviously failed horribly at their "anti-Epic" strategy to have something of substance ready this year.

While I can't defend Disney's lack of inaction, I will say that it's a smart play at trying to take advantage of UOR's incoming attendance boom. With UOR pricing Epic Universe at a premium, its easy to see a family of 4 opt to do 1-day at Epic and 2-3 days at WDW if it ends up being better financially.

Disney fans: man they removed a lot of stuff for kids where parents could just let them run around and do stuff

Disney: adds something for kids to do stuff

Disney fans: IS THIS HOW YOU RESPOND TO EPIC UNIVERSE????

Like guys, not everything is about epic universe? The plan for epic is just to hold the line with some small deals and somewhat “let them win” this year. Which is by far the best decision.

Not even a few months ago people were talking about how they were bothered that Disney was building too many thrill attractions and not doing enough for younger guests, but now that they're specifically doing things for younger guests, it's unwelcome? Sure, this isn't going to be appealing to anyone who isn't in that target age range, but that target age range is likely going to really enjoy all this and they deserve to have some fun too while their older party members are off on rides.
