Even though it looks like some rain just passed through, the higher than normal winds coupled with low humidity and dry undergrowth can make a small fire very big very fast.

The most likely impact could be to fireworks, but I would think that it would be the high winds that would nix them before the risk of fire.

We’ve been under a statewide burn ban here in SC for the last several days. Wildfires have broken out in most of the coastal counties, with the largest in the Myrtle Beach area. Scary stuff.
