Took a little maneuvering but I'm going to DLR May 16-18 this year. I was going to go earlier in the week then found out that the 70th anniversary begins May 16. I can't miss that, so I'm combining my vacation with a trip to WDW first with round-trip flight out of Orlando. Looking forward to all these new things in DL's Galaxy's Edge as well as all the 70th anniversary activities.

You'll be missing Season of the Force (and likely Luke unless they keep him on) as it ends on the 11th.

Confirmed by Tom Bricker on his site. Its staying.

"Although Season of the Force ends on May 11, “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga” is expected to continue indefinitely in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge throughout 2025 and beyond. Check Disneyland.com or the Disneyland app for showtimes."

Also they have an alternative overlay of the nightly fireworks, "Fire of the Rising Moon" which is also staying. GE, as you may recall is in DL Park. Quote below from a question to him on his site.

"Both the shows are permanent. “Fire of the Rising Moons” started last year during Season of the Force and has continued every night there’s been fireworks since (well, except maybe New Year’s Eve–not sure if there was a version for that)."

I wasn't talking about the show. I said they'd miss the season and likely Luke.
