Boy it has been a LONG time since I've posted. I'm sorry mods if I'm not putting this in exactly the right spot.
I have been wanting to do some drawing just for fun and got it in my head it would be fun to work on something with the macaws from the enchanted tiki room. I absolutely love birds and I think it would just be some really fun disney art that isn't TOO disney if that makes sense.
Anyway, getting to the point. I have read all over the place that the colors of the birds is representative of their countries. That's cool, I like that. What's bothering my OCD though is in all the images I find online, Jose is yellow not white? He also has blue feathers not just green?
Fritz is a whole other thing, I saw the controversy and honestly fully intend to color him yellow, red, and black, but I have no idea where to put the black? I can't actually see any black in the red and white bird I see in photos?
Can anyone enlighten me? Were they updated and the flags abandoned? Is it a lighting thing? Is it just a myth their colors represent countries?
