Universal City, Calif., Orlando, Fla. (June 5, 2025) – For the first time ever, horror fans will step into the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Prime Video’s “Fallout,” in an all-new terrifying haunted house at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. The unimaginable terror becomes a reality starting Friday, August 29 at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 4 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Based on the award-winning global video game franchise from Bethesda Game Studios, “Fallout” was a critically acclaimed hit with audiences worldwide when it debuted on Prime Video in 2024. The cinematic series is set in the year 2296, two hundred years after a nuclear war destroyed civilization. All that is left is an eradicated and highly violent hellscape known as The Wasteland crawling with mutated animals and creatures, while gentle citizens take refuge underground in luxury fallout shelters known as Vaults.

In this terrifying haunted house, fans will encounter iconic scenes and characters that will put them into the frightening action of the popular series. The journey begins beneath the surface in Vault 33, where guests follow vault-dweller Lucy MacLean as she escapes a bloody massacre, only to discover an evil hidden secret. From there, visitors venture to the surface, where they must dodge attacks from Scavengers and Raiders, desperate survivors who will do anything to remain alive, as well as mutated cockroaches known as RAD Roaches. As guests travel through the hellish Wasteland, they will go through iconic locations like the Super Duper Mart and encounter The Ghoul, an ageless bounty hunter who has endured radiation exposure for centuries. Additionally, they will come face-to-face with a young squire named Maximus and gaze in awe at his T-60 armor. With frightful terrors at every turn of the eerily authentic haunted house, fans will question if they can ever escape the horrors of The Wasteland.

Guests can now purchase tickets and event-inclusive vacation packages for Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights, which will run 48 select nights from August 29 through November 2 and feature 10 terrifying haunted houses, scare zones, live shows and more. Products on-sale now include single-night tickets and event upgrades such as Halloween Horror Nights Express Passes – which allow guests to skip the regular lines one time at haunted houses and participating attractions; the R.I.P Tour – which provides priority V.I.P. entry to the haunted houses; and the Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour that offers a glimpse into how the scares are brought to life via a daytime, lights-on journey through select haunted houses. Fans can also get an early start by adding the Scream Early ticket to their Halloween Horror Nights admission, which gives them access to Universal Studios Florida starting at 3 p.m.; or stay, scream and save up to $200 on a special vacation package that includes hotel accommodations just minutes away from the haunts, one-night admission to Halloween Horror Nights plus access to a dedicated gate for entry into the event, daytime admission to enjoy Universal’s theme parks – including the all-new Universal Epic Universe theme park, exclusive benefits and more (package savings vary based on length of stay). For additional details on these products, click here.

Plus, Premium Scream Night returns to Universal Orlando for one night only on Thursday, August 28, giving fans the opportunity to be one of the first to experience this year’s scares during a limited-capacity event that includes access to everything they love about Halloween Horror Nights, plus shorter wait times, a selection of all-you-care-to-enjoy food items and more.

A variety of Halloween Horror Nights ticket options for Universal Studios Hollywood are now available, including General Admission, Universal Express, After 2 P.M. Day/Night, the Early Access Ticket, which provides entry to select haunted houses beginning at 5:30 p.m. (subject to change), in advance of the scheduled 7:00 p.m. event opening time, the premium R.I.P. Tour and popular passes, Frequent Fear Pass and Ultimate Fear Pass, which enable guests to experience the scares again and again. Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood will run select nights from September 4 to November 2. Click here to purchase tickets and for Terms and Conditions.

This year’s Halloween Horror Nights unveils all-new merchandise collections with limited release products inspired by the “Fallout” haunted house, including a t-shirt and tumbler available now at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. Additionally, fans can purchase and collect graphic puzzle pieces inspired by new haunted houses that fit into a collectible frame. All the pieces will come together to create a framed mural that showcases highlights from this year’s killer lineup.

Additional event details, including new haunted houses coming to Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort, will be revealed soon.

I haven't seen the show, but I don't like that they're explicitly basing the house on it instead of the games themselves. I guess it's to be expected with Universal trying to appeal to normies. Hopefully it at least retains the same spirit.

I hope this years Halloween fright and horror nights at universal studios Orlando Florida resort and universal studios universal city Hollywood Los Angeles California would share art the clown Friday the 13th and WWE since we already have the reveal of fallout the amazon television show version and five nights at Freddy's the movie version coming to both events this year is going to be quite amazing if done well.

I hope anyone willing to give up an arm & a leg for Express with their FFP this year was able to do so, because they already sold out in less than an hour.

HHN prices over the years in the chart below.

HHN is why I'm such a devoted theme park fan, but prices are starting to become absurd. Their multi-night tickets were undervalued for quite some time, but they've become costly. Meanwhile, the event itself has had a rough patch lately with less experiences available to match the demand it has nowadays.

We used to have 2-3 stage shows a year... and now it's down to 1 (assuming no lagoon show this year). Not too mention less rides available and virtually 0 street performances. The event has improved in food options and the tribute store, but those are behind paywalls and not included in your admission.

HHN's 1-day ticket is still a steal compared to something like Not So Scary (IMO), but it seems like UOR is trying to slowly find a price ceiling to price out it's most dedicated fans?

I think the base ROF and FFP prices are getting close to a reasonable ceiling. I think standalone Express and base Ultimate Fear still have room to go up, especially the base Ultimate Fear (another $100 for all the “peak” nights vs FFP+ is quite a value). They can keep jacking the multi-night passes with Express to the moon, IMO, because oversold Express is the biggest operational issue with the event. Ultimate w/Express should frankly be a lot closer to $2k. Personally, I don’t think the multi-nights should have all inclusive Express at all, except maybe for ROF passes.

I'm hoping there is a lagoon show this year. Now Cinesational is up and running, they don't really have an excuse to not show one this year

Don't give them any ideas. I'm not made of money. :cautious:

If what I saw last year was any indication, they've actually been underselling the FFP w/Express since then, and those who manage to snatch one (with mere minutes to do so!) are burdened with insanely inflated prices to compensate. Universal is obviously aware there was a problem, but they've started overcompensating for it.

And god forbid you actually need an Attractions Assistance Pass, because everyone in Florida who didn't manage to get Express now has some sort of disability all of a sudden. So this is actively hurting operations in other areas.
