Let’s see what the upcharge is. Even Spirit charges exorbitant amounts for their “big front seat” upgrades.
When you’re looking at a free or $15 seat versus $100 seat, that’s a ridiculous upgrade price.Not necessarily, especially when you look at your total price rather than just the upgrade price.
On our recent trip we flew to Orlando on Spirit with the Go Big bundle. The flight down was $134 per person, only $40 more than we would've paid for a JetBlue flight.
Then flying home on JetBlue, we paid $97 for airfare and seat selection. (I would've booked Spirit home, but there weren't any flight times that worked for our schedule)
While the JetBlue flight was fine, the Spirit flight was the far superior experience.
