For anyone coming during this time, remember layers, layers, layers. I had a trip one MLK weekend comparable to this week and I wore long sleeve shirt, jeans, sweatshirt, scarf around my neck, thick jacket, wool cap over my ears, and even insulated gloves. I was still very cold. I had a VIP ticket to a Broadway concert at the American Gardens theatre which I obviously didn't need. Most didn't attend. Be ready for strong wind chill while waiting for and watching fireworks.

Currently snowing in Pensacola. Yay 2025
Floridians can't drive in the rain. They're completely ill equipped to drive in 6 to 8 inches of snow.
That and they think they'll die from hypothermia if temperatures fall to 60°.

Some of my fellow Floridians can't drive in 80 degree weather with sunlight either.
That too. Especially those who live close to university campuses.

Speeding in the best of conditions is bad!
I have saw drivers speed in heavy snow and rain and this is more than bad, its criminal!

Minnesotans can't drive in rain. Or snow. And schools closed here today, but for -20F temps.
