Well, I’m not there. I refuse to accept that WDW continues to function without me. They just lock the gates, I believe.

The benches are gone.
Maybe that's temporary.
But, I've witnessed people camping them two hours before fireworks so they can have a seat for the show.

I know it was opening night of starlight but they had almost all entrances to the station blocked off while the train was still operating. No signage on how to get to the station.
A poor family went up the exit ramp and they were scolded by a CM who could have easily let them on the train. There was plenty of room and it was still boarding.

Anybody but common peasants like you and me apparently! Haha.
I mentioned how they rope off the entrance to the station with no signage that the train station itself is still open and how to access it. I witnessed a family trying to get on the train who went up the exit ramp, who were scolded by a CM - the same CM who could have simply opened the gate and let them on the train - it was still boarding and there was plenty of room.
