Which of These 3 MK Early Entry Strategies Should I Use?

Hello friends!

I will be beginning my 24th birthday Disney World trip on Friday! Our first park day is Magic Kingdom on Sunday (January 5th). We’re staying on site at Pop Century so we have the ability to take advantage of the 30 minute early entry period.

I know all about the times to arrive (thanks to this sub and forums!) but right now I’m waffling back and forth on what to do for early entry. I booked 7DMT as a LLSP as well as Tron so both of those big things I don’t need to worry about. For my 3 pre-booked LLMP, I picked Haunted Mansion, Pirates, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. I didn’t want to play the VQ lottery for Tiana, I wanted to get a set time that works well within our schedule.

With all that in mind, which option would you take of these three options:

1. Use EE to do Peter Pan and stay in Fantasyland as the park opens at 9 and do stuff until we’re ready for 7DMT. With this option, we’d try and get the TL stuff on LLMP later.

1. Use EE for Space Mountain and do the rest of TL (excluding Tron) as the park opens and do stuff until we’re ready for 7DMT. With this option, we’d try and get the FL stuff on LLMP later

1. Use EE for Peter Pan and Fantasyland, don’t worry about using LLMP on Tomorrowland and instead use it for other things, and do Tomorrowland after fireworks end at 8:30ish but before our 10:00 PM Tron LLSP

It used to be that 90% of EE guests would head for 7dmt or Space Mtn.

If you are near the front I would head straight to PP, then WtP & IASM.

But there is also an argument for Space, Buzz and Speedway on the way to Fantasyland.

Which is more important to you? PP will be very hard to get as an LL on the day, unless you can tap into your first one at 9am. That is maybe a reason to go for FL during EE, to be lined up at the rope ready for HM - depending what time that LL is).

Alternatively, if HM is later than 9/9:30, I’d suggest trying to trade Pirates for something in the Land you decide to do first.

If TL, make it Speedway. If FL maybe IASW. The aim is to tap in as near 9am as possible and then grab Pirates. However, the restricted overlaps might be tricky to work round at this point.
