My wife and I will be visiting Disney World 12/2-12/5 /24. My wife does not ride any coaster rides. can i book virtual queueslots for both of us, board early in the return window and then use her magic band to ride an attraction again during the return time? I dont recall a fingerprint being required after entry into the park so Im thinking this statagy could work. Am I wrong? thanks in advance for any replies/help.

I’ve been curious about this too because Rob from Ear Scouts recently said it’s against park rules to use some else’s magic band for something like that. Said it could get you kicked out of the park!

But we were there 2 weeks ago and when I set up a baby swap, they asked who wanted to ride a second time with me. After we decided & they scanned my band and the second person’s, the CM specifically told us if the second person changed her mind, to give her band to someone else to use. So we felt comfortable sharing magic bands a few times, usually for a baby swap, but at least once was a LL.

We’ve swapped bands many times. You won’t have a problem @seavote101. You’ll likely need to re-enter the queue immediately after finishing your first ride, as virtual queues can take as long as 45 minutes after entry (typical wait time for Guardians of the Galaxy - Tiana’s Bayou Adventure isn’t as long.)
didnt think of that. ill make sure make sure to arrive at beginning of return time. If it takes 45 minutes to ride I"ll only ride once. Abandoning my wife for an hour and a half at Disney would not be nice!!also I'll be using my phone app to board so no swapping needed. We were at Disney around this time last year and i rode Tron and the wait was only about 15-20 minutes. But it never occurred to me that i could have reserved another virtual queue.

Yes you can. My partner doesn't do thrill rides but I book it for both of us so whilst I take both bands and ride twice, they go off and do whatever, usually shopping or Starbucks.

She may like it - it would give her time to ride Living with the Land 6 times!
