Visit in Mar-Apr or Jan

I am thinking of taking my family to Disney either in the 1st week of Jan or the 1st week of Apr. Which one is better? Weather-wise? Crowd.
We live in Chicago. 3 Kids under 12 yrs.

Since you’re from Chicago and you have 3 kids I’d say 1st week in April is the better decision
