News Refurbishment plans set for Magnolia Bend rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside beginning in April 2025

Here's the announcement from Walt Disney World:

From early April 2025 through the end of January 2026, Guest rooms in the Magnolia Bend at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will undergo refurbishment. During this time, Guests may see or hear construction work in the area.

Similar design as the FQ rooms. These all seem really well done and IMO lifts them higher in the ranks of moderate resorts.

In my opinion the tile floors and restroom countertop feel higher quality than what I recall from staying at FQ a few months ago. Otherwise the room itself is very similar to FQ and that’s a very good thing

It’s exactly the same quality of countertop and flooring, just a different tile pattern. We returned yesterday from our stay at POFQ.
