They will add value by raising gate prices.

Well, this might not be a popular opinion, but at $1549, the price is right about where it always has been -- 10 times a daily admission ticket.

Go 11 times and your Incredipass is paid for.

Still a good deal in my book.*

*For park admission. Riding rides and experiencing attractions in a timely manner will likely add another coupla hundo dollars to each visit.

I’m kinda surprised Disney doesn’t offer AP’s for specific parks. MK and DHS have capacity issues, Epcot and DAK don’t.

I could even see a pass with unlimited visits to DAK and Epcot and X amount of visits to MK and DHS per year.

Have always thought a DAK AP would’ve made sense. Pump up attendance at that park, appeal to locals who like animals and the vibe more than the Disney brand.

And if you normally purchase park hoppers on top of the regular ticket the return drops below 10 days.

That's what justified it for me. I was of the mindset that I wasn't going to renew, but knowing there is like, a $250 discount on renewing is making me rethink. I know I won't be there nearly as much as this year, but it's basically 5 park hop days at this point, which I know I'll make.

… for the locals.
If I had to guess, for the parks too. When I lived in St. Pete, we used to have passes (albeit they were like 1/4th the price they are now). Whenever I was in Orlando for concerts or other things, I'd legit go to Epcot and get a couple beers around the world and some food. Or maybe one of the other parks for something I really liked. I think an after 4 pass would be a lot less about the rides, and a lot more just to go have some food or see some fireworks, so it would add money to Disney without having much of an impact to the out of town guests.

This is the most recent AP thread, so I'll just put it here.. (thread bump!)

But I just had a short weekend trip with a bunch of first-timers – my party was 10 people total including me.

We did a lot of photopass throughout MK and Epcot as well as on rides, so I wanted to get the photopass add-on to my AP to get all those photos to share with my group.

I was ready to pay $99 (using giftcards) for it since that's the discounted AP price. Called the AP hotline and talked with a CM for a few mins to verify my info and stuff.

They put me on hold for like 15-ish mins while they tried to pull up their ticketing system to add the Photopass add-on. After the long hold they said they had some troubles and transfered me to ticketing where to my surprise they said Photopass was already enabled on my account. I haven't even paid for anything or even got to that part of the process.

The ticketing CM said looks like it was added on my account just now for free from the previous CM and said I'm all good, and I was! No more watermarks on my photos.

This is like the first time I've ever experienced something like this, albeit not actually at WDW and just over the phone. This honestly felt like true Disney magic and the bonus is that I didn't have to pay the $99 that I was willing to pay regardless .

So shoutout and thanks to the 2 CMs that I talked to as they sure made my day. I also made sure to submit some cast compliments for them!
