News Scat Cat's Club - Café closing for refurbishment in late September

Disney has announced Scat Cat's Club - Café at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter will close for refurbishment starting September 23 and is expected to reopen in mid-October 2024.

Here's the statement on the Walt Disney World website:

From September 23 to mid-October 2024, the Scat Cat’s Café at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will be closed for refurbishment. During this time, Mickey-shaped beignets, specialty beignets and specialty coffees will be available at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory.

We will be staying there starting mid October so hoping the refurb doesnt get extended. Glad the special items will still be available.

Hours at the Café for today and going forward have been added to the Walt Disney World website and it has been removed from the refurbishment list:

Wanted to say the update was a success. The Scat Cat Club Cafe is constantly filled with guests lining up to get beignets. They are wonderful. You can get a chocolate or caramel dipping sauce with them. The powdered sugar covering can be a bit messy. Mickey shaped beignets as well. Many guests get take out orders to eat them in their rooms or around property.
