Up Close With Rhinos - Super hard to get?

So back in 2022 I tried to get Up Close with Rhinos at AK and I never once saw availability. The past few days, I have been checking (admittingly around 5 am or so) to see what availability ends up being like and I am still not seeing anything for 50-60 days out.

Is this super hard to get? Is this one of those experiences that I will need to book right at 11 PM CT in order to get? Our trip isn't until 12/8 so I have a bit yet before booking.

I believe it is. It's only offered once a day for a limited number of people. I tried it for my trip right at 60 days and it was booked for my AK day. I suggest you make it your first priority when your 60 days hits.

Just bumping this thread to see if anyone has gotten lucky booking Up Close with Rhino's and what you did.

It is very tough to get but keep going as your time gets closer. The time we got it, we were about 10 days out. People do cancel. We got it on our 5th or 6th try.

I had no luck, either, but while at the parks, more than one person told us it’s fairly easy to just “go standby.“ One of them was a cast member. If you’re going to AK, try to sign up in person early. See what happens.

Good to know as I never had luck doing this either.
