Just watched PC Dev's early view of Epic Universe.
LOTS of water there.
Meanwhile Disney filled in 20k decades ago, and are about to destroy River's of America.
Now there’s only Seven seas lagoon, jungle cruise lagoon, new fantasyland water features, World showcase lagoon, imagination fountain, japans multi story koi pond, pandora water, discovery river, echo lake, disney springs water

Doesn't negate the fact that when you go into Magic Kingdom in the near future there will be little visible water.
Jungle Cruise which I love essentially requires getting on the ride to see that water.
20K used to be this beautiful blue oasis lagoon.
Rivers of America - a serene expanse.

With Iger's recent comments regarding Disney possibly slowing/canceling projects regarding tariffs, could this be the thing that saves TSI and the Riverboat? (obviously not worth the cratering of the world economy, but perhaps a silver lining? lol)
Doubt it heavily, while Cars is not super popular, Villians is their major thing coming up and that also essentially requires the removal of the river anyway.

I would expect that the other non announced projects (possible Moana ride, Epcot ride overhauls, Animation Courtyard) would get the boot way before this does. Especially since the “theme” of last D23 is actually getting things done.

I used to see WDW Pro in this forum pre-pandemic (It that really him?). He has always been extremely negative. I also noticed a significant increase of these grifters on socmed and it seems Disney is always their main target with their ridiculous looking thumbnails in their videos.

So I went to the video channel, and he was live with 3 other people right now. What's the topic of discussion? Not Disney or Universal, but the first presidential debate from last year.

So no insiders have any update on this project or any idea what direction they are going in??

Everything is extremely vague in a sense that the ride system is even questionable.

I’m just wondering how far along the development as it pertains to groundbreaking.

I figure in a tough spot because cuts are likely yet they don't want to not give a hot merch property its all.

I personally think they'll walk back Villains (with a proviso "promise" to revisit the concept at a later date/Guest demand/ROA/Desire to make it bigger and better...Blah Blah) and a scale back of Carsland to "Cars attraction"

I mean it wasn’t even a Carsland to begin with, right? Just two attractions next to each other in Frontierland. They seem to understand finally that castle parks shouldn’t have IP specific lands. Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Paris made it out unscathed, lol

Sure if losing the entire ROA for a gigantic Cars ride in Frontierland is “unscathed.” If that’s unscathed I’ll take my chances with scathed.

You're following PC Dev? He just makes it seem like he tells it like it is and he's just being honest but he wasn't like that years ago, like night and day difference. He will show you what you want to see and hear and not really he's own perception.

A common denominator with grifters is politics, sports, and Disney (but all negative news only with Disney). No constructive criticisms, just all rants. I get it that these things are bringing in engagement cause people are just naturally attracted to negativity. If you see a positive post, it rarely gets any comments or views, but when it's negative the comments are in the hundreds.

I think we need to get the facts straight now. This has NEVER been Cars LAND. It's always been marketed as 2 Cars attractions in FRONTIERLAND. If this does get scaled back to 1 attraction, I don't want to see people claiming that Disney have budget cut a whole land to become 1 ride when that was never the plan

You know... hearing about things on big projects because it "leaks" is not the norm...

I think a lot of us on these forums get too spoiled because we hear about leaks or insider things every so often that it feels like the norm versus us just getting very lucky sometimes lol.

Not hearing about any leaks or intricate details this far out is VERY NORMAL people lol.
