Disney's IP mandate has no consistent logic or sound reasoning behind it beyond the simple recognition of named movies to sell ideas to executives who don't like theme parks. There's no real correlation between box office and merchandise revenue and quality and scope of attraction.

It's why WDW has a TRON: Legacy roller coaster and a Moana interactive play exhibit.

It's why the show about what happens inside the mind of a 12 year old will continue to sit abandoned and not reopen based on the highly successful franchise about what happens inside the mind of a 12 year old.

It's why WDW gets Frozen and Zootopia retrofits of existing attractions, while those movies get dedicated lands elsewhere.

It's why the best WDI can do with the MCU is Avengers Campus.

I’ll take a Wish dark ride.

They are also hosting the entire world of color show and are featured in the Better Together Parade at DCA and at the Disneyland Pixar Party (which is lame but that’s not the point haha).

Can't you still meet Joy in Pixar Place? And Joy and Sadness had a M&G for quite a while. I do think they do things like that

I think they tend to wait quite a while before greenlighting a full attraction - look how long it took the Little Mermaid to get one - Froze. Being a bit of an exception but even that was an overlay

Such a big commitment for Encanto also seems a bit of the exception though they did state they see this as a Franchise

Guess I am just not super surprised they have done something huge for Inside Out 2 yet, only a year old

I just named 2 major and 1 mid-size live entertainment offerings that Disneyland has featuring inside out…. Plus a flat ride that is prominently featured.

I don’t believe I saw any inside out characters on my entire visit to WDW. Maybe there is an indoor meet and greet I missed haha.

Apparently if people saw the Monsters Inc movie, thought “wow this door segment is exciting it would make for a great ride”, and now get excited about said ride it means you were a child and still dont properly understand themes.

Also the only proper Disney ride is a slow dark ride. Wanting something purely because it seems fun should be frowned upon.

So many of the Disney fans stereotypes on full display in these last couple of pages.

Yeah, probably would have to make a point to go to her spot, not something you just pass, but she is there

You know the personalities - we are having a little fun and pointing out some flaws in the plans.

The idea for the door coaster is fun - the lift from the “scare” floor could potentially be very cool…. Hope it works better than sirens curse!

But I do wish that such a large building could also house a family attraction like a dark ride. Ideally the 2 could interact. (Meaning you see the door coaster from the dark ride).

Even a simple “monster mover” that traveled around and through the warehouse and land would be something that could add kinetics to the land, and give all ages something to ride.

Kinda feel like Snow White makes complete sense for a mine coaster?

And no sense for the large amount of small children who like that character and will want to go on her ride.

And a shooting star would make perfect sense for a rollercoaster.

Edit: I'm not arguing the logic of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, just that Disney will make any property into a rollercoaster.

3.5 years old on average to get on Snow White and it is a very tame coaster. I really don't know many super fans of Snow White who would be under 3.5 years old who wouldn't be satisfied from meeting her?

Mostly because they don't have the full rights.

Why does Disney not having the rights to use all characters in Florida mean the Avengers lands in Paris, California and Hong Kong are all lackluster to varying degrees?

The Spider-Man coaster that will be a Shanghai exclusive has the potential to be the best Disney built Marvel ride because their overall track record is less than stellar (and yes, I've been on Ant Man, Iron Man, Webslingers, Cosmic Rewind).
