I’m a little bit worried that Disney might make some Disney Renaissance movies like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, etc forgotten. Yes Belle and Beast from Beauty and the Beast are in there which is better than nothing, but what about the other Disney Renaissance movies? Especially the popular ones?
Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Beauty and Beast are probably the 3 most overused movies in Disney Parks entertainment in the past 30 years, alongside Toy Story

After my trip last week, I'm very nervous about crowd control in between the Starlight and HEA showings. Hadn't seen HEA in person in a very long time, and oh boy after it ended the chaotic crowds and (no offense) pretty lackluster efforts on parts of CMs that were in my area in the hub was rough to see. Fingers crossed they figure out a solid strategy

It won’t be easy for CMs that’s for sure. Sadly to say I can see more fight breakouts happening and of course those pushing their kids up to the rope last minute after others have been waiting there for a few hours.

Remember that the average stroller is also about 2x the size as it was when they last had a night parade. This is going to be a disaster.

I use to remember strollers as being strollers. I don't know what has happened since pre pandemic but now all I tend to see is anyone pushing a stroller driving them fast like a car. If ever I notice someone with a stroller behind me I just press to the side and let em pass.

Nothing like a parent pushing a 50 lb double-wide stroller 10 mph at your ankles.
Nobody is pushing an umbrella stroller like that - the kid would fall out.

Disney has started airing TV spots for Summer 2025 entertainment, including Disney Starlight (forgive the quality on this):

I can’t believe they’re actually publicly marketing all this as “Cool Kid Summer.”

This ad is anything but “cool,” and it does nothing to dispel the myth that Disney parks (especially WDW’s) are just for young kids. We all know the actual cool kids will be at the new park down the road at the resort that’s built is brand on being edgy, cool, and just a little aspirational for kids as they mature.

It’s also odd to promote it for summer, when everything in that video has been announced as permanent (well, as permanent as entertainment should be) additions.

“Please bring your kids to WDW this summer! Especially if you think your kids look too young for Stardust Racers…”

Cool Kid Summer might not be the Best Tile. But..We are 1 Step closer to Starlight, While that Park down the road hasn't confirmed a Nighttime Spectacular yet and there's Rumors out that EU cut Entertainment Performers!

Also, these WDW Shows, plus Starlight open this Summer . So why not label it Summer???

It might actually help depending on timing. If they have Starlight step off 1 hour before HEA then most likely the parade finale will not leave the hub until 30 min before the show, and not get out of Liberty Square until 15-20 min before. Think about that for a moment and what that means for traffic.

1. Adventureland is cut off from every land but Main Street.
2. At 30 min before show, paths to the hub will be closed at FL for the pyro
3. If CMs were to enforce the Liberty Sq bridge staying closed, they could essentially funnel all traffic wishing to exit/enter hub into the Main Street Bypass preventing the hub from becoming overcrowded by preventing anyone who watched parade 1 in FL from getting to the hub in time to see the show.

Do you think that all the summer offerings have been unveiled or that disney might have some surprises for us. As much as I am excited about this new parade I also wish to see the drone show back in Disney Springs (one of my favorites from my first visit last year!), and more Disney characters in the parks.

In any case, this parade looks spectacular and I cannot wait to witness it in person.
