News All-New Nighttime Parade Disney Starlight Set to Debut at Magic Kingdom in 2025

I want dreamlights style where they're still very majestic but you can see the individual lights on the floats, I'm not a huge fan of the paint the night style, I still love paint the night but I prefer dreamlights/spectromagic.

100% agree. I want to see individual lights. Not convinced we are getting that but still to early.

Music wise I feel like this will be on the slower grander side or a Waltz. It’s also possible that music played in their instagram video following the expo was actually part of the music.

As far as floats I am very curious to see what float follows the Blue Fairy or if anything comes before her. This isn’t MSEP so anything can happen.

Im with you on that, I hope its a full scale light parade and not a short one like Paint the Night. I like how Spectro they made a waltz version of every score besides under the sea. I don't like when they replicate the songs for the nighttime show or even sing them I like when shows get their own version of the song and they all meld in together. I got it right with Luminous but I still don't like everything having vocals.

I assume for the Moana float the new song Beyond will be included, which could fit in nicely if the soundtrack has a big soaring score and isn’t an upbeat rave like PTN.

Sounds like Paris is getting several upgrades like a new lighting package and sound system for their new nighttime show. Obviously MK is not getting a nighttime show where this stuff would also be coming, but hopefully the rumored lighting package for Starlight is still happening.

During the parade no but when PTN debuted we realized how much the lighting adds to the parades intro. MSEP introduced projections on Main Street with the new finale unit. Im curious if Starlight will also use projections based on the concept arts background.

I just noticed in this new Christmas parade how quick they were able to jump from a bouncy beat to a complete waltz just for one section of the show this really has me thinking now

They really need to update the whole projection system, the castle main street, all of it. Maybe Starlight will give the budget to do so? We can only hope, especially after looking at the recent Paris video it's sad how much worse MKs projection quality is now.

I agree. For the new Paris show it sounds like they are pulling out all the stops. MK needs this but it likely won’t happen until HEA gets replaced. I guess maybe there is a chance some of it happens for Starlight.
