Exactly, that was my point. It's not some god awful ride. It's just flight of passage is so much better. Unfortunately the demand for FoP made too much spillover for Navi. That created to high an expectation for it. I think we all, well most, fell in love with the atmosphere of Pirates, haunted mansion. They aren't going to make it longer, but adding in something like a Banshee AA is completely within reason and very much plus the ride.
What makes it half an attraction?
I believe it was originally supposed to be longer and with a drop. A possible 3rd attraction as well. Budgets changed which is why I don’t put a lot of stock in everything they are going to announce and show concept art for this weekend

Yes, but people on both coasts, and worldwide, loved Splash. Nobody says that about Kali, Navi, or AK closing so early.
And then to add to that “realism”, they put merch kiosks right in front of the marquee-less entrance hawking plastic flight helmets and Star Wars souvies.

Disney should start up Dine with a Disney Legend again... No idea why they haven't. Used to be stupidly popular.
Maybe not with the Legends.......
I've heard that they generally enjoyed it, but that could be a small sample.
