A question about Chef Mickeys

The other year when we went to Chef Mickeys we had a 9:20pm reservation which was perfect. We watched the 8pm fireworks in the MK then had an hour to let the rush go before walking in a leisurely way to Chef Mickeys for our meal. Currently with the MK fireworks at 9pm and the last reservation being at 9:25pm, this wouldn't be possible.

If we got to the Contemporary about 8:50pm, is there anywhere there where we would get a decent view of the fireworks at 9pm before heading to Chef Mickeys straight after to eat? Also we're going in September this year, does anyone know whether the MK fireworks shift to 8pm in September which would alleviate the problem entirely?

Thanks in advance.

There’s a balcony on the 4th floor when you head through the door to the walkway to Bay Lake Tower. Near the shops, in the corner.

That's brilliant to know and very much appreciated. We love the fireworks at the MK, but absolutely hate the getting out following them with the crowds and waiting for monorails or boats. We found this a perfect solution and the food and character interaction is brilliant (even though I'm too old for that type of thing really) and when we finish eating the crowds have all gone as we head out.

Weve watched from that location a few times and it seems to be a spot not too many people know about or think of because we never are joined by many other people.
The Bay Lake resort Skybridge is another spot to view from and the sound is piped in.
