What exactly about Mickey's outfit here screams "holiday finest"? It looks like the cast member outfits for MISI, not holiday oriented at all.

Mickey looks like a guy you’d see on a Jersey boardwalk trying to get you to play a carnival game.

They really need a redo on the Sen6 costumes for Jollywood. They were a huge miss from what the event was/is advertised to be.

A few sites are mentioning about a so called Muppet Christmas Carol photo op for this event..From what I seen in the press photo there is no Actual Muppets there and they degraded them by making them just Silhouettes in a window in their outfits from the movie..The only highlight of this is some kind of robot arm that takes the photo's in the Muppets Studio 1 store..

Could it be better? Probably.
Am I, a millennial with many fond memories of watching it with my friends as a child, as excited about this as I am any of the M&G? Definitely!

Think of the money required to do something so elaborate as to have Muppet characters in a photo op at a hard-ticket event. Those stock dividends aren't going to pay for themselves, you know!

They did! During the Villians Unleashed event they had Constantine as a M&G...

And that event never happened again...

Looks like they'll oil up that plastic sheet and then run and slide on it.
It is not safe to do any elite level maneuvers on plastic “ice”— so I’m curious what international skating stars they signed up. Maybe ice dancers or skaters from the 1980s?
Back when I was competing, my coaches would not have let me used my real blades on this kind of surface… but I guess it would be trivial for Disney to buy them a set of special performance use blades. We bought Jollywood night tickets because I wanted to support the concept of skating in the parks, but what I’ve seen so far (along with the strange failure to disclose who the skating stars are) has kept my expectations extremely low.

So they had a year to make classy 1930s inspired holiday outfits for Mickey and Minnie and they still didn’t? How is what they are wearing inspired by the event theme at all??

Check out the photos of Mickey and Minnie in their garb during the half-marathon this weekend (not Chef outfits, but their M&G on course). That's what I expected for Jollywood, not whatever it is we got.
