The fact that there are still so many Brown Derby reservations available does not seem to bode well for how this thing is selling. Perhaps if Disney hadn’t been so ridiculously cheap with their offerings last year there would be better buzz around this..

It eventually sold out last year, even with the bad word of mouth over the first night.

It’s possible people just value their party time? We have a reservation but I’m not certain if we’ll keep it. I worry that the party time is pretty short so I want to see the final entertainment schedule and poll the family on what they do/eat— I did CRT at MVMCP a couple years ago and regretted the major waste of time (I want to say about 75 min?).

FWIW, I booked our tickets last week, realized I accidentally booked them on Epcot EEH (moments after clicking finalize) and called to change them, and the woman who helped me sort it out said there was “plenty of availability” on both dates.

Looks like they have the cupcake corps out in front of this one with a blogger event today—EDIT yesterday (it took me that long to see it) I'd set my expectations low if they’re hyping it up now

You wrote "or" for Jose and Panchito. Is that a slip or are they seriously not springing for two caballeros at once?
I was grousing that we aren’t going to get all 3 caballeros (surely they have an old unused Donald suit lying around somewhere?) and didn’t even notice that it’s going to be another “press your luck” one at a time M&G.

We are less than 2 weeks from the first Jollywood night. I look forward to attending as an alternative to MVMCP, which I have attended the last few years (and no dreamlights - no bueno).

I have it about 50-50 if Jollywood event returns in 2025. No sellouts yet, it's not looking good for Ollie.

Disney Previews Character Encounters Coming to Jollywood Nights 2024: Santa Duffy, José Carioca, Panchito, Scrooge McDuck, and More

Stil surprised they haven't had used one of the Gingerbread characters for Ollie to use as a M&G

I bought tickets but really not feeling it my event got rained out last year so they refunded me but I think the event was tainted from last year. I can’t believe they are brining back the brown derby offering that was so so so bad

Starting to come up with my plan for our night there. I know MVMCP has food extras, but it seems really in your face at Jollywood in particular which sorta bugs me. Hoping for some positive changes from last year though. Don’t let me down, ice skating show!

I’ll be honest I’m not waisting my time / money on their food it seems very small portions and not worth it.

At most I’ll buy a drink by the Tower of Terror:

here’s my plan:
- get in the park and do a few rides and see fantastic
- see the holiday show with the muppets
- nightmare before christmas
- tip top club
- Mickey and the gang photos since they seem to be pairing them up.
- jingle bell jingle jam

All seems doable to me in the new time frame
