What is the best time to reserve dinner at California Grill in order to see the fireworks while dining? We’re hoping to snag a reservation September 28 once our reservation window opens up.

Remember that you can watch the fireworks on the CA Grill terrace if you're having dinner that same night, no matter what time your reservation is. That's what we did - our reservation was later than the fireworks but we went early to watch outside on the balcony and then had our meal.

I think 2 hours before fireworks is good. That's what we've done twice.

No just the dinner menu, or you can try to get a spot at the bar.

They did use some of the side rooms for varies parties at one point but don't think they've been offered for years.

It's not a dessert party as such, more of a bit of everything, but it does include a private viewing area.

Aha, that was the event I was thinking of, just hadn't seen anything about it so didn't think it was still going. Seems like you'd need to drink quite a lot to get value compared to just having dinner at California Grill.
