MK Big Thunder Mountain to receive full retrack

I think this is the true reason behind the height restriction being lowered, the whole track layout looks like it was smoothened out and it won't toss you around as much.
I’m not really sure how much that would be possible. The big factor in smoothness is the center of rotation of banking.

I believe the track has been slightly straightened in this shot:

There was rocking effect built into the track here, and I don't see it in the profiling.
Looking at the Tumbleweed section now is making me think about how odd it will be in a few years when the western themed Big Thunder Mountain attraction will stick out when flanked by an attraction about early twentieth century New Orleans on one side and an area with anthropomorphic cars on the other.

I’m actually optimistic that the “national park” vistas of piston peak may pair well with Big Thunder. A bit more skeptical on how these will transition to Villains (and HM)

You shouldn’t be able to see any anthropomorphic cars from Big Thunder.

Has this happened to any Big Thunder before?

Any relation to Beyond Big Thunder?
Smooth ride. Where everything is exactly in synchronization. Like a eagle flying through the air. No perking, perfect roll to takeoff, smooth winds infighting video or 3d of the most beautiful scenes, perhaps a aquaduct landing under a waterfall with a splash and the warmth of the summer breeze through the underwater surf. Smooth

It would be a real shame if they smoothed it out as Tony Baxter just recently said how he hopes they won't remove the "flaws" in the track.
Poor Tony…the 2 best rides he had a major part in & look… BTMRR & Splash…Tony, if you play golf, hit the links & just ride into the sunset…WE KNOW the phenomenal things you’ve done…

Funny how there is no problem for Pirates which takes place in the Caribbean sea during the 1700s and Jungle Cruise which takes place in Asia/Africa in near modern times.

But two rides in the same country around 30 years apart (at most) is somehow a big problem.
