You know what's funny?
That's what she said? How many centimeters is that?

At least two or threeHow many centimeters is that?
I think this is the true reason behind the height restriction being lowered, the whole track layout looks like it was smoothened out and it won't toss you around as much.I believe the track has been slightly straightened in this shot:

There was rocking effect built into the track here, and I don't see it in the profiling.
I speak without having seen any evidence but…From videos of the ride cycling, have they slowed BTMRR down?
Plot twist: the only changes to the ride are the addition of trim breaks at the top and bottom of each hill.I speak without having seen any evidence but…
If the lifts are the same height…
And it’s still propelled by gravity…
I can’t imagine it has slowed down.
I’m not really sure how much that would be possible. The big factor in smoothness is the center of rotation of banking.I think this is the true reason behind the height restriction being lowered, the whole track layout looks like it was smoothened out and it won't toss you around as much.
It's certainly possible they straightened out the "intentionally rough" sections of track such as the town.I’m not really sure how much that would be possible. The big factor in smoothness is the center of rotation of banking.
Looking at the Tumbleweed section now is making me think about how odd it will be in a few years when the western themed Big Thunder Mountain attraction will stick out when flanked by an attraction about early twentieth century New Orleans on one side and an area with anthropomorphic cars on the other.I believe the track has been slightly straightened in this shot:

It would be a real shame if they smoothed it out as Tony Baxter just recently said how he hopes they won't remove the "flaws" in the track. It's certainly possible they straightened out the "intentionally rough" sections of track such as the town.
I’m actually optimistic that the “national park” vistas of piston peak may pair well with Big Thunder. A bit more skeptical on how these will transition to Villains (and HM)Looking at the Tumbleweed section now is making me think about how odd it will be in a few years when the western themed Big Thunder Mountain attraction will stick out when flanked by an attraction about early twentieth century New Orleans on one side and an area with anthropomorphic cars on the other.

How about fire-breathing steampunk dragons? You shouldn’t be able to see any anthropomorphic cars from Big Thunder.
If the historical documentary "Wild Wild West" taught me anything it's that giant mechanical creatures did indeed exist back then. How about fire-breathing steampunk dragons?
When has WDI historically ever done anything to mess up or even outright destroy (often with glee) a Tony Baxter creation? It would be a real shame if they smoothed it out as Tony Baxter just recently said how he hopes they won't remove the "flaws" in the track.
Smooth ride. Where everything is exactly in synchronization. Like a eagle flying through the air. No perking, perfect roll to takeoff, smooth winds infighting video or 3d of the most beautiful scenes, perhaps a aquaduct landing under a waterfall with a splash and the warmth of the summer breeze through the underwater surf. SmoothHas this happened to any Big Thunder before?
Any relation to Beyond Big Thunder?

Poor Tony…the 2 best rides he had a major part in & look… BTMRR & Splash…Tony, if you play golf, hit the links & just ride into the sunset…WE KNOW the phenomenal things you’ve done…It would be a real shame if they smoothed it out as Tony Baxter just recently said how he hopes they won't remove the "flaws" in the track.
Funny how there is no problem for Pirates which takes place in the Caribbean sea during the 1700s and Jungle Cruise which takes place in Asia/Africa in near modern times.Looking at the Tumbleweed section now is making me think about how odd it will be in a few years when the western themed Big Thunder Mountain attraction will stick out when flanked by an attraction about early twentieth century New Orleans on one side and an area with anthropomorphic cars on the other.
