According to updated park hours in My Disney Experience, Disney's Hollywood Studios is set to close at 5:30pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

I didn’t know about the park closing early but I know of this after hours event because I’ll be there

I will assume that any person who purchased a park specific ticket for that day will receive a pro-rated refund for the loss of 4 hours of park time.

No but I’m sure they’ll be happy to sell G+ and have some attraction downtime that day just to make it feel like all the other full days

yes, but they also charge a nice fee for the conference. I attended a conference for a different vendor who booked a private event with the B52's. It's not uncommon for conferences to have this type of event. Back in the day, Lotus used to have annual conferences at WDW and had big events, too.

No unfortunately guests for that day will not get a prorated refund. But they can go to other parks

The stage is quite large and blocks some of the projectors for Disney Movie Magic and Wonderful World of Animation, so the shows are canceled through June 6th.

Hopefully the event goes on without a hitch. Back in the day a convention at MGM paid LL Cool J to perform in front of GMR. The rapper walked off stage and never returned after 2 songs because he was unhappy with the sound system.

and it was pretty bad there today with that going on, we couldn't wait to get out. The blaring dj it was like a rave. really destroys the parks atmosphere. but they don't care anymore. nor do guests probably.
