Well at least we know that Pedro was actually in the movie for a couple of scenes.
As someone with Pedro fatigue I miss the days before the reveal when Mando was just a cool faceless character.

Definitely a better commercial than the Super Bowl one though, looks like Star Wars, feels like Star Wars, smart to bring back the Hutts, smart going back to the bounty hunter focus… feels like season 1 again which is a very good thing.

This (or a shortened version of this) should have been their SB commercial, made the movie look much more entertaining.

Agreed it was better than the super bowl spot for sure. The thing I'm having a bit of trouble with, is the look. It just looks a bigger episode from Mando season 1. I'm not sure if that is going to get people jacked up for this though. Now don't get me wrong, if it's as good as season 1 and 2 I'm sure I'll like it. I can't help but be a little let down that this is how the first theatrical star wars in over 6 years looks.

This is looking like a likely solid win for LF and Disney. Expectations and budgets in check.
That's for sure the plus of this. It really only needs to beat Solo by 25mil or so to be at a break even point. If this film needed to hit 700/800mil, they could have had some major problems. But who knows, it could do those numbers anyway. As I've said before, this will be a good test to see where the fandom is with star wars.
