No seating at the bar, but this is consistent with how they operate Oga's, standing only.

the bar and the map makers room seem to be similar to oga's with the standing only ... hopefully they don't cram people in too much and/or make families with kids too small to actually reach the high top table use though (happened to us at Oga's the first time)

Apologies if this has been mentioned somewhere, but are reservations for this going down the same way for all dining? 6am, 60 days in advance if staying at a WDW resort, etc etc...?

We were at DL in March and the reservations for Trader Sams went up like an hour early and just got lucky. Wondered if they do random releases like that for this one too...

Curious about how 'normal' folks snag these traditionally.

for the first day for ADR booking (well, the second try for it) it opened at 7pm, but I believe the plan going forward is to be like normal ADRs of 6am (though I usually start checking at 5:45am as in the past sometimes it has opened early for all bookings)

Thanks a bunch, really appreciate the info. Was the 7pm drop the night before or night of?

It looks amaaaazing! Can't wait to hear about what the full experience is like.

My only complaint is the standing room area. Is it luck of the draw who gets that and who gets to sit down? With as much walking as you do at Disney, I very much prefer a guaranteed seat.

Other than that I love it! The effects they showed were amazing, looks incredibly immersive, awesome details... Wondering if there's a backstory behind the pictures of royalty on the wall? Are those valuable paintings, paintings of people whose kingdoms they've plundered, etc.?

How hard do u think reservations will be at start of December

You think 60 days +4 will be enough on my booking window

What does it let u book the now for anyone’s window that’s just opened for staying at a resort

Hard to know - I think GEO-82 demand has died down a bit but this might last longer

I'd like to think at 60+4 you should be ok especially if you are flexible with what time of day, but hard to know for certain

At Oga's the first time we went they put us at a standing table and we had small kids with us and it was a disaster as their heads were below the table height

The next time we went they tired to do that again and we asked if we could wait for about given the kids and then let us but we had to wait longer (probably took like another 15 minutes of waiting) ... So I would think they could do the same here but hard to say for certain

We are going to be booking on Sept 28th for Nov 28th and are only going to MK for Mickey's Christmas Party. I would think that we should be ok nabbing something after 7pm once the general public are filtered out of the park in favor of the party guests. (?)

I'll admit, it does look really cool. Much better than I figured but, I'm so tired of Disney catering to the free adverts the influencer loons provide for them by creating a false sense of exclusivity and "FOMO". I'm all for these sorts of small, boutique locations, but there needs to be a parallel interest in offerings that have an impact on capcity.

That's good to know... I don't know that my son would eat anything here but even if he got a drink, it would be hard to manage standing with a high table. 90% odds it would end up on the floor, lol.

I do get that, but this replaced Pirates League which was closed and this will definitely have more capacity than that did and like GEO-82 replaced a corporate lounge ... so in both cases even though capacity is low they are additional capacity to the parks. Not like they took some high capacity QS and turned it into a low capacity lounge

it was really tough - and the kids just felt left out .... does seem like the % of standing spots is lower here than at Oga's so I would hope they would leave that for adults and let families have the seats, especially if willing to wait a little longer

Yeah, also it looks like there's a lot of stuff to touch in there. Thankfully we are pretty much past the rampaging-squirrel-on-meth phase, but as a rule it's much easier to put a toddler or small child in a chair (or even better, a booth) with an activity. Since Disney chose not to have an age limit on this one, thinking they'll need a place to put kiddos with a pack of crayons. Let them stand around and see how long it takes a 3-year-old to make a run for that pirate ship bottle... 😂
