If I jumped the Gun, I apologize. It looked good with the MNSSHP Announcements though!I mean, it's always been stated as Late 2025. Up until today, I had thought it would have been September/October at the earliest

Yeah, if this is going to be 45 minutes of "sing-alongs, and storytelling", I think Geo-82 would be more my speed if I were in the mood to pay Disney prices for a cocktail. If this were more Trader Sam's-but-pirates, that sounds fun and would be insanely popular.45 minute experience? lol

I think the best comp will be Oga's (which at least to start also had the same limitation) ... I am sure will be bartenders playing their roles and the animatronic bird and fun music and stuff - but not going to be something super immersive with storylines or anything
I fully expect a secondary market to evolve for this venue. Start checking StubHut and TicketGouger for resales...Lets face it, they will probably print money with this, so to open it and not run it full steam as fast as possible would be surprising.
$49/person cover charge and a 2-drink minimum.Maybe they're retooling the concept to focus only on Disney Adults after management discovered that children typically don't drink a lot of $25+ cocktails, which drastically altered the profitability calculations for the location.
Throw in a generic charcuterie and cheese plate and I'm sold!$49/person cover charge and a 2-drink minimum.
Maybe add some of those tiny pickles with the swords in them. They don't really taste good but look so cute on the plate.Throw in a generic charcuterie and cheese plate and I'm sold!
yeah, not sure if anything official from Disney said AA but the description says:
- " Meet Rummy: As Merry’s trusted companion and first mate, Rummy serves as the tavern’s quartermaster keeping an eye on the place from his roost high atop the bar. Although retired from seafaring life, Rummy is a dutiful crewman to his beloved Merry, ensuring everything is ship-shape, sharing tales of piracy and leading the bar in a rousing toast or two.
Eagle-eyed Disney fans may notice that Rummy bears a striking resemblance to the original Barker Bird that previously sat at the entrance to Pirates of the Caribbean but flew the coop some time ago."
also mentions Rummy when talking about the bar and enchanted rum bottles:
- "Guests may also spot the Enchanted Rum Bottle, which was gifted to Merry by the enchantress Tia Dalma and seemingly serves as the source of the tavern’s specialty brews, or Rummy hobbling along the bar’s ledge, greeting the patrons and keeping a close eye on the crew while Merry is away. "
Also will be some ships in a bottle with animation to them:
- "Above the fireplace are mounted five miniature ships in glass bottles, rumored to represent pirates from every corner of the world banding together to defeat tyranny. Keep a weathered eye out, as these mysterious bottles have been known to come alive and engage in a fearsome battle. "
Can that even happen with the 'ticket' attached to one's MDE account?I fully expect a secondary market to evolve for this venue. Start checking StubHut and TicketGouger for resales...
