Yellow-Backed Duiker Calf Born at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Meet Penny!

Dr. Mark Penning shared Mom Pearl gave birth to Penny earlier this month - the last time a yellow-backed duiker calf was born at Animal Kingdom was over 20 years ago.

Pearl and Penny are expected to be back out on the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail later this summer.

Sounds like Penny was named after Dr. Mark Penning. I assume he is one of AK's CM Veterinarians.
