Was just planning a late Spring trip and noticed that TL doesn’t have a reopening date. Anyone know when that is going to be announced?

I think we are likely to hear about that soon, but Disney has not announced when they will make an announcement.

From what I have heard, its on track for spring break possibly.

I don’t know the answer to this but they have been making a big push (bigger than normal) to hire more lifeguards recently so possibly they want them both going this summer?

I wouldn’t put it past Disney to quietly move this to the Mighty Ducks pool at All-Star Movies last minute if necessary. It’s basically the same thing, no?

Completely. We did two mornings at Typhoon Lagoon late August. It was miserable. We queued well over 60 minutes for every slide.

None of the slides are worth it.

It was the children's pick, otherwise we wouldn't have done it. Especially the second day. I have a Mermaid for a younger daughter.

Awful experience.

My favorite attraction at TL is the titular attraction, my second favorite attraction is the lazy river. In distant 3rd is Crush n Gusher, then misadventure falls and Kowabunga. I can have a perfectly wonderful day at TL without riding a water slide.

Yes every year, traditionally one goes down Oct-Dec and the other Jan-March with both open March-Oct.

It has being reported elsewhere that Cast Members have been notified Typoon Lagoon will reopen on March 12.

Scott Gustin reporting Disney states BB will close for refurb starting 3/19...I really hope they are both open this summer.
