Full housekeeping room cleanings returning to all Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

Hence why do not disturb or room occupied signs exist.
Many hotels do not have them (anymore). I'm not sure why.

Before the pandemic, WDW (and some non-WDW hotels) did daily 'wellness' checks. I don't know if that is still a thingut when it was in place, even if someone put a sign or note on their door, they still came by once per day.

Side note: Has there been any word on when delivery of items purchased in the parks to your resort will return? It restarted in DL last year, but WDW's website says it's still unavailable.

I so miss this perk of staying at a resort! I rather have this back than housekeeping, honestly (for me, personally).

On a 14 day trip the promised every other day didn't happen, the room was barely touched, the floor was never swept or vacuumed and the bedding changed once on the 4th day, but, not again.
Not being mean to the mousekeeping, but, I doubt it will ever return to the standard it was at one time. And I pulled this out of my sink plug hole on day three when it wouldn't drain. I did complain and was given vouchers for two free QS meals, but, I would rather have had a clean sink.

We just stayed 7 nights at POFQ and our room was fully serviced every other day. The only issue was Friday was supposed to be housekeeping day, but we were checking out Saturday. So to be honest I can understand not doing a full cleaning.

Which resort were you at?

It's great to see full housekeeping services back, especially at the deluxe resorts where the prices are so high. I’ve always thought a big part of the Disney experience is coming back to a fresh room after a long park day. At home, I make sure to get regular cleanings too—maid service Meridian Idaho has been a lifesaver for keeping everything in order without the hassle of doing it myself.

Hey Tu,
random question. how does the housekeeping work at DVC rooms now do you know?
sorry for being Lazy. you are the guru
That remains unchanged. You get trash and towel service on Day 4, and if your stay is 8 nights or longer you get full cleaning on Day 4 and trash and towel service on Day 8.

You room will have a daily security check. Sometimes they will empty the trash (as a courtesy), sometimes not.

As someone with a child still in diapers, I’m curious about what to do if trash isn’t emptied for 4 days. Is there somewhere we can put it? Leave it outside the door?

We have tied up the bag and dropped it in one of the big outdoor cans which are near the exterior doors.

If it's a DVC Points reservation, housekeeping is as @Tuvalu noted. If it's a cash reservation direct from Disney (or through a TA), housekeeping is supposed to be daily.

Last time I was at POFQ I went 5 days without house keeping since I returned by like 3pm each day. Didn’t have a sign on the door or anything, so I guess ymmv depending on your room location and what time you usually return.
