Not that it makes a huge difference but think you can get in as early as 7:00 which brings the $ per hour downWow. That works out to about $60 per hour.
I remember when $60 would get you a whole DAY in the park...

Cost goes down, but at the expense of "exclusivity" for those first 3 hours. For our DHS after hours we paid $167 (undercover tourist). Could get in at 7 and event ended at 12:30, so 5.5 hours so works out to right around $30/hour.
…I do too…Wow. That works out to about $60 per hour.

And let's not even bring up E-Ride Nights...…I do too…
It was like 2004
But remember: Eisner ruined EVERYTHING![]()
$15 was for the plebs…And let's not even bring up E-Ride Nights...
Beware of block pricing…Nudge,Nudge! Looks like the crowd is getting use to a Daytime ticket and a separate Nighttime ticket. Guess there won't be any surprise when it happens.
I think it really depends on how this fits into your vacation. For our DHS after hours we paid $167 (undercover tourist). Could get in at 7 and event ended at 12:30, so 5.5 hours so works out to right around $30/hour. Which is definitely not cheap, but we did get a lot done (per hour) and no waiting for really anything so definitely trade offs
I wouldn't do one as an add on to a big Disney trip but for a short trip or as part of a larger Orlando trip I think they can make sense
That's true but I think this offering is directed to people who are bothered more by crowds than by price.Cost goes down, but at the expense of "exclusivity" for those first 3 hours.

All the comments about price per ride and declining attendance don't register with those people. They are likely to disregard the first factor and consider the second as a positive.
