It's sad to see how DHS has fallen from grace in regards to Christmas offerings. When they revamped the park decor, added JBJB, and began the Sunset Season's Greetings, the park was leaps and bounds the best place to spend the holiday season. I will say that when the BAM was taken out of the JBJB, it did lose a little bit of steam. Regardless, it was still a fun Christmas show.

Bring back the Osborne Lights or some kind of holiday drone show like they did at Disney Springs a few years back
Drones are limited due to the no-fly zone which Disney essentially bribed/strongarmed the FAA into imposing decades ago.

As for the lack of other entertainment, well... it does cost money, and we know Chapek seems to really dislike entertainment unless it makes him some directly!

WDW can get waivers from the FAA that allows them to fly drones.

The no-fly zone only applies to MK and would not prevent then from flying zones. Just like they manage to fly helicopters for promotional filming or a dragon when opening Fantasyland.

Also doesn’t the no fly zone only apply to MK?
It's a 3-mile radius from Latitude: 28º24'45"N, Longitude: 81º34'20"W, surface to 3,000 feet. As depicted it covers all of the MK and most of Epcot.

Christmas at DHS died when they got rid of Osborne
