Avengers Campus: Food, Entertainment, M&G, Environment Updates

Is there any chance that the show is closing because it would be impacted by construction of the new E-Ticket? I know it's probably just "entertainment cuts" but wonder how much impact the construction will have on the already existing Avengers Campus?

This is my assumption, as the construction site should (very soon) be directly behind that building, and I assume there will not be the same access to get up to the roof as before. This is probably why they haven't torn down the Trolley Barn quite yet, need to end this show and adjust access to that existing structure, before starting heavy demo back behind it.

Or it's an excuse to cut more entertainment...

The trolley barn is outright getting torn down. So what I assume you mean by adjusting the access points is for the construction workers.

Access for construction. Safe access for the workers inside the store, and or to still allow some characters up top. But might not have the storage and access needed for the full stunt show and team.

I'd heard this rumored a while ago, so not surprised, but sad to see it go. It's a really great stunt show. What's worse though is losing the holiday Hawkeye stunt show, which was SO much fun. This leaves only Warriors of Wakanda and the Guardians dance off still hanging on. :(

That said, considering all the hero characters in the current Avengers Assemble show are technically dead or no longer fighting, and Taskmaster will get a new storyline soon in Thunderbolts, it was time for this show to get a rethink.

Sadly, I expect the construction may keep a new show from arriving until the expansion is built. So the characters are going to have to do the heavy lifting for the life of the land for now. They do a lot of informal games like charades or quests and challenges with guests that I'd expect will become more commonplace now. Along with continuing the character 'moments' as mini-show experiences like they've done recently with Sam assembling the Avengers for a quick photo op as the Brave New World promotion.

They've already announced that the Fantastic 4 will not be meeting on Campus, but instead in Tomorrowland. I wonder if they want to do some kind of show moment there that they now can't on Campus or if it's just to see how the characters work there in case the movie is a hit and allows some Tomorrowland updates as a result.

If I was optimistic about Disney's investment into the parks, I'd say this would be the perfect time to bring a stunt show over to Galaxy's Edge to pick up the entertainment slack. If I was optimistic.

The new FF does not occur in 616 universe but an alternate one. I’m guessing that the FF’s arrival in the main universe won’t happen until the end credits or perhaps the next Avengers Movie.
Indeed, the "Multiverse Saga" is coming to an end.

Look for a new, combined, sacred-timeline-ish one universe to come into existence re-setting / re-booting a good portion of the MCU characters so far incorporating all the characters Feige wants to keep and jettisoning the rest.

Until a new multiverse appears....

According to Brady MacDonald, the Avengers Assemble! stunt show will have its final performance on April 5 - here's the update:

Whatever will we do without getting yelled at every hour by the entertainment hosts. Are they going to chop some of those positions too? Lot of wages expended on the way campus was never designed with shows in mind

Well they better get started on the filmed portions already, the cast was announced today and the films are already in production

So how does this work? Is this some alternate universe in the multi verse where Tony Stark becomes Dr. Doom instead of Iron Man? So will Downey Jr play two characters - Doom and Iron Man or will someone else play Iron Man?

In the MCU (Earth-616) timeline Tony is dead (spoilers for anyone that didn't see End Game).

So far its unknown the specifics on if this Doom is a variant (a theory making the rounds) of Tony from another universe. A clone (another theory I saw floating around). Or something else like he looks like Tony but isn't Tony.

As far as I'm aware RDJ is done playing Tony at least in the current MCU (Earth-616) timeline. After this and the next Avengers Movie (Secret Wars), we'll see. But the assumption was that this will lead to Battle World, if it follows the comics. And that adds a whole other level of complexity with characters where Tony and Doom are together. So it'll be interesting to watch.

Um, the casting announcement with the inclusion of the X-Men was huge.
Yeah, but your posting the way it was worded make it seem like it was a negative, or something else, which is why I asked. As most people don't usually use the phrase "took a turn" to mean something positive, as in "took a turn for the worse".

Anyways its why I asked for clarification. :)
