Hi all - I haven't been to FW since summer 2019. Is the bike path between FW and WL still inaccessible because of the construction on Reflections? I know construction was halted, but didn't know about the status of that trail. Thanks!

do they still do bike rentals?
seems like it would be a pretty decent spare revenue stream if you do them out of some already-active spot like the boat rentals or something
obvious it's not going to be lines around the block but as somebody who bikes for commute in Central FL it seems that biking around WDW property would be a fun enou- actually now that I think about it iirc it's a lot of curving roads with mostly two lanes, sometimes four?
yeah I really have no idea if there's anything reasonably bike-able even if you like doing that, once a thousand years ago family was visiting WDW and rented bikes to... something, then promptly realized that biking if you don't bike regularly is really rough, especially in humid warm conditions with no breeze because TREES EVERYWHERE

There are biking/walking trails at FW. You can also bike through the entire campground exploring all of the camping loops. It’s all flat, so biking is fairly easy. People bike frequently to the marina area to catch the boat to MK. Even with the trees, there’s still a nice breeze to go along with the scents of the trees.

Remember when the Campground had a steam train you could ride, a waterpark and most recently a bike path from the campground to Wilderness Lodge? I’m losing the desire to return. They raise the price and less amenities! What’s wrong with that picture?

They also had a produce truck many years ago that would drive through each loop selling fresh fruit and veggies. At one time you could actually swim in Bay Lake and also visit Discovery Island. The train, although a wonderful experience, had several issues. The tracks weren’t built properly, and derailing was a safety issue. The ground was too unstable and the ties kept sinking. There’s so many other amenities there that put it in the upper echelon of campgrounds, IMHO, that people will continue to spend their $$$ to stay there.
