I'd say items outside one's home can be flying projectiles with all the cookie cluster homes right next to each other in some FL neighborhoods. Do the right thing and store it in one's garage.

Make sure you have the essentials due to power failures....outdoor furniture should be moved indoors, drain pool just a little due to heavy rains...this is normal for Florida...remember "hurricane season" is not officially over...just be safe

Just make sure nothing can fly away. Any Halloween decorations secured. Unless utilities are old in your area, don't really have to worry about a long power outage. These cold fronts can be nasty, but Floridians fear the cold more than the rain front.
