Not a gotcha. Just correctly pointing out that your insult directed at the new cabins would apply to the previous two versions that have existed over the last 5 decades. You’re not nearly as witty as you think you are.

The signage did indicate “major delays” while this work is going on nightly. I may try to ask for more details on our way out today.

Signs near Wilderness Lodge are saying World Drive will be closed nightly from 11pm-5am from Feb 26 through March 7, 2024. Not sure what it’s for.

World Drive is currently being resurfaced in small stretches.

Also, looks like they're finally getting rid of the mountain of dirt in the middle of the MK parking lot.

Does anyone know if the Celebration Blvd/World Drive intersection is covered by Reedy Creek, State or Osceola? The new Celebration Pointe Plaza is finally opening venues up and its starting to increase traffic in the area along with a new Wawa planned for the corner.

I know there was a tread for this but I can't find it... A South Florida Water Management District Permit has been filed for the World Drive Phase-III. The way the road is being re-routed is interesting. Could this mean something is coming to land just north of the Grand Floridian?

It appears land clearing has started near Maple Road/Floridian Way as work on Phase-III continues (in the attached photo in the quoted post above, this area is where @danlb_2000 labeled "end project"):

Will this finally allow them to use the soil at the center of the MK parking lot to fill in the removed wetlands? The dirt hill at the center of the MK parking lot with the "temporary" construction fence is an ugly site and horrible first impression (then again the entire TTC process is lol)

They’ve been slowing using that soil and reducing that hill over the past several months.

Yes they have, but it's stopped over the last month or so now. Feels like they are waiting for this additional phase to continue.
