I think the list of items you cannot use the discount on is longer than the list of items you can use the discount on.

I just bought my niece the Ratatouille wristlet for her birthday in November and got free shipping with a code I had from a previous order that was about to expire anyways. It came to about $20 with tax.
What really angers me is that I never received an email from Disney about this discount. I had to hear about it on here.
